With the colder months quickly approaching, it’s good to know that NBC is ready to serve up laughs with St. Denis Medical, a new workplace sitcom set in a quirky, underfunded hospital. Created by the team responsible for hits like Superstore and American Auto, St. Denis Medical is set to debut on NBC on November 12 with a special two-episode premiere.
This double feature will give audiences their first glimpse into the chaotic world of a hospital running on a shoestring budget. Following the premiere, new episodes will air every Tuesday at 8 p.m., leading into Season 3 of Night Court at 8:30 p.m. New episodes will be available to stream on Peacock.
I watched the first four minutes of St. Denis Medical and instantly knew I was in for some laughs. In that short time, I witnessed a newly promoted nurse on the verge of a meltdown, a doctor who desperately needs a life outside the hospital, and a nurse who's bound to be a regular in HR—like a high schooler getting sent to the principal’s office.
There's also an executive with sky-high ambitions and a hilarious appearance by Betsy Sodaro (Ghost, Duncanville) as a patient. And heads up—there will be some laugh-out-loud moments of nudity in this series!

Plot Overview:
In St. Denis Medical, viewers follow a group of dedicated yet eccentric doctors and nurses working in a hospital plagued by financial struggles. With limited resources, a steady stream of bizarre patients, and personal dramas brewing behind the scenes, the staff works tirelessly (and comically) to treat patients while navigating their own issues.
