We've seen what it would be like if apes ran the planet, but what if food reigned supreme? Get ready to find out this summer because everyone's favorite food group is about to take over in the new animated series Sausage Party: Foodtopia.
Building on the success of the 2016 feature film Sausage Party, this new eight-episode series, featuring the original cast, is set to premiere on July 11, 2024 on Prime Video.
(See The Trailer Below)
Sausage Party: Foodtopia follows familiar characters Frank (Seth Rogen), Brenda (Kristen Wiig), Barry (Michael Cera), and Sammy (Edward Norton) as they try to create their own food society.
However, building the perfect society isn't as easy as it sounds when the gang faces unexpected challenges like crows and rain. When they lose the smartest member of their group, they realize they need the help of a human to get their utopia—excuse me, foodtopia—back on track.

Fans of the first movie will be happy to learn that the original cast is being joined by new talents Will Forte (The Last Man On Earth), Sam Richardson (Veep), Natasha Rothwell (Saturday Night Live), and Yassir Lester (Duncanville). This likely means we'll see some new, fun foods adding fresh dynamics and more laughs to the cast of characters.

The series is spearheaded by executive producers Ariel Shaffir and Kyle Hunter, who co-wrote the 2016 film with Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Rogen and Goldberg, along with James Weaver and Alex McAtee, are executive producers via Point Grey Pictures.
Conrad Vernon, who co-directed the original film, returns as director and executive producer. Sausage Party: Foodtopia is a collaborative effort, co-produced by Annapurna Television, Sony Pictures Television, and Amazon MGM Studios, with the executive team including Annapurna’s Megan Ellison, Patrick Chu, and Andrew Millstein.
