Kevin Hart’s new comedy special, Kevin Hart: Acting My Age, arrives on Netflix on Monday, November 24 at 12 a.m. PT. Hart revealed the news in Times Square with a live announcement that streamed across six billboards and through Complex’s social channels, including Instagram, YouTube, X, TikTok, and Twitch. The special marks his fifth Netflix stand-up hour and brings him back to the stage at a time when the comedian says he is learning to embrace what it means to be older.

The special promises to be a candid look at the moments, frustrations, and everyday wins that define his forties. According to the official description, Hart will dive into family life, shifting priorities, and the unique perspective that comes with getting older. Hart returns to his signature stand-up format after his recent dramatic role in the film Lift, signaling a triumphant return to his comedic roots.

The special is written and performed by Hart, with additional writing from Joey Wells and Harry Ratchford. It is directed by Leslie Small, a frequent collaborator who has worked on several Hart stand-up projects. Jeff Clanagan produced the special, and Hart, Dave Becky, and Luke Kelly Clyne serve as executive producers.

From what Netflix describes, the special focuses on aging, responsibility, and the learning curve that comes with balancing work and family. Knowing how Hart’s own perspective often reminds viewers that they are not alone, this could be the spoon of sugar fans need this holiday season.
