HBO Max launched its Face Your Demons collection, bringing together an extensive lineup of horror films and series streaming throughout October. The platform says the goal is simple: no need to scroll endlessly for the right scare when a curated library is waiting.

The rollout includes weekly premieres and big-name debuts. A24’s Bring Her Back arrives October 3, followed by MUBI’s The Substance on October 10. Later in the month, HBO Original series IT: Welcome to Derry makes its debut on October 26, expanding Stephen King’s iconic universe just in time for Halloween.

These fresh titles sit alongside an already stacked horror vault. From Evil Dead Rise and Sinners to A24 favorites Talk to Me and The Witch, HBO Max has pulled together a range of films that stretch across decades. Franchises like The Conjuring, Insidious, Final Destination, and A Nightmare on Elm Street round out the mix, while staples like Get Out, The Shining, The Exorcist, and The Sixth Sense offer viewers an instant refresher on modern and classic horror alike.

The collection isn’t just a single rail of titles. HBO Max has broken it into themes such as “Must-Scream Horror,” “Unleash the Monster,” “Haunted Hall of Fame,” “A Killer Movie Marathon,” and “Stephen King: The King of Fears.” Each features iconic faces, supernatural scares, and monster-filled marathons designed to cover nearly every corner of the genre.

By organizing its vast library into a one-stop shop for scares, HBO Max is taking some of the guesswork out of horror season. Whether you want a slasher rewatch, an unsettling psychological thriller, or a supernatural binge, the Face Your Demons collection lines it up without the usual late-night browsing fatigue.
