Horror fans, brace yourselves—Final Destination: Bloodlines is bringing the franchise back to its sinister origins. Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have announced that the highly anticipated installment will hit theaters nationwide on May 16, 2025, with an international release starting on May 14, 2025.

This time, the curse follows Stefanie, a college student plagued by a recurring nightmare that predicts gruesome deaths. Desperate to break the cycle, she returns home in search of answers—only to uncover a dark family history that links her fate to Death’s merciless design.

The film stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Rya Kihlstedt, Brec Bassinger, and horror icon Tony Todd, known for his chilling role as the ominous coroner. Directors Adam Stein & Zach Lipovsky helm the project, with a screenplay by Guy Busick & Lori Evans Taylor, based on a story by Jon Watts.

Unlike previous entries that introduced new victims with each sequel, Final Destination: Bloodlines will take moviegoers into the origins of Death’s relentless pursuit, offering longtime fans a fresh and eerie perspective. With IMAX screenings confirmed, expect high-intensity scares that amplify the franchise’s signature, heart-stopping suspense.

Since the first Final Destination in 2000, the franchise has delivered jaw-dropping death sequences and psychological horror, making audiences second-guess everyday life.

Horror lovers—mark your calendars. The final destination is set.
