Season 2 of The Hunting Wives is officially underway, and Netflix confirmed today that two new recurring guest stars have joined the cast. Kim Matula will play Nadia Kelly, and Alex FitzAlan will appear as Lincoln Trout as the series continues filming in the US.

Matula and FitzAlan join a growing list of returning cast members. Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman are back as Sophie and Margo, along with Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery, and Branton Box. Rodriguez and Emery have been promoted to series regulars this season, and more casting news is expected later.

Created by Rebecca Cutter and based on May Cobb’s bestselling novel, the series follows the fallout of last season’s tense finale. The first season debuted in July on Netflix in the US and quickly gained traction, spending five weeks on the global English Top 10 list and drawing more than 20 million views despite its limited regional release.

In the new season, Sophie and Margo start off barely speaking, but trouble forces them back into each other’s orbit. Old secrets surface. New pressure builds. And as tensions rise, the central question becomes harder to ignore: who is really in control, and who is being pulled into the next dangerous game?

Cutter returns as creator, showrunner, writer, and executive producer, with Erwin Stoff and Cobb also serving as executive producers. Production is underway, and Netflix says additional cast announcements will follow as filming continues.

Fans of the series can expect more twists, shifting alliances, and the mix of social tension and suspense that defined its first run. With new characters stepping into the world of Sophie and Margo, Season 2 looks ready to expand the story in ways that push both women into even riskier territory.
