What to Know
  • The Hunting Wives returns Nov. 26 on Netflix.
  • Sophie and Margo reunite with new threats in Maple Brook.

Sophie and Margo have plenty of reasons to stay apart, but trouble in Maple Brook is pulling them together again. Brittany Snow and Malin Åkerman return for Season 2 of The Hunting Wives on Thursday, November 26, on Netflix, where old secrets and new enemies threaten their uneasy relationship.

The eight-episode season follows Sophie O’Neil (Snow) and Margo Banks (Åkerman) after their dangerous first year. They are no longer on good terms, but new threats make avoiding each other difficult.

Jed Banks (Dermot Mulroney) is running for governor. The new trailer shows Sophie attending couples therapy with husband Graham (Evan Jonigkeit), while her connection with Margo remains hard to escape.

John Stamos (Palm Royale) joins as country singer Chase Brylan. Dale Dickey (True Blood) plays Zelda Moffitt, and Cam Gigandet (Violent Night) portrays Gentle John Moffitt.

Kim Matula (LA to Vegas) plays producer Nadia Kelly, and Alex FitzAlan (The Wilds) joins as Jed’s political adviser Lincoln Trout. Basketball player Angel Reese also appears as Trainer Barbie.

Snow told Netflix Tudum that Sophie and Margo still care about each other despite the danger surrounding them.

“There is a lot of love and care there, and yet their circumstances are really dire and murderous, and the stakes are very high,” Snow said.

Rebecca Cutter (Hightown) returns as creator and showrunner for the Lionsgate Television production, which continues beyond May Cobb’s original novel. Netflix has already confirmed a third season.
