A new drama from Jonathan Glatzer is heading to AMC and AMC+, bringing a sharp sense of mood and ambition with it. The Audacity premieres Sunday, April 12, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with new episodes airing weekly. The eight-episode series is set inside Silicon Valley, where a tech CEO chases influence in a world shaped by data, privacy, and power.
This marks Glatzer’s first time running a series on his own, though his work will be familiar to many viewers. His past credits include Succession, Better Call Saul, Bloodline, and Bad Sisters. The series is produced by AMC Studios, with AMC Networks holding worldwide rights.
The story centers on Duncan Park, played by Billy Magnussen, a data-mining CEO operating deep inside the Silicon Valley bubble. Sarah Goldberg stars as Dr. JoAnne Felder, his performance psychologist, whose role places her close to both the company and the people shaping it.

The cast also includes Zach Galifianakis as Carl Bardolph, Lucy Punch as Lili Park-Hoffsteader, and Simon Helberg as Martin Phister. Supporting roles are played by Rob Corddry, Meaghan Rath, Paul Adelstein, Everett Blunck, Thailey Roberge, and Ava Marie Telek, with Randall Park appearing as a guest star.

AMC has released a brief teaser that focuses on tone rather than plot. In the clip, one character says, “Okay, just got some news. Great news. Pretty cool news,” before adding, “Dunno, can’t tell you what, but it’s great.” Another moment cuts through with a sharper line: “Some people just have very punchable faces.” The teaser keeps details close, hinting at tension and dark humor without revealing where the story is headed.
Behind the scenes, the season is split among several directors. Lucy Forbes directs the pilot and the second episode, followed by Dan Sackheim on episodes three and four, Dan Longino on episodes five and six, and Alex Buono on the final two episodes.
Executive producer Gina Mingacci joins Glatzer on the production team. Filming took place in Vancouver, British Columbia, between April 22 and August 12, 2025, standing in for the show’s Silicon Valley setting.

With its focus on tech culture, power dynamics, and personal pressure, The Audacity arrives as one of AMC’s notable new scripted series this season.
