Apple TV+ has announced La Décision, a seven-episode French-language political thriller starring Raphaël Personnaz and Diane Kruger. The series follows the French president’s desperate search for a missing child, a crisis that turns out to be painfully personal when the young girl is revealed to be his secret daughter.

Directed by Martin Bourboulon (Les Trois Mousquetaires, Carême) and Louis Farge (Culte), La Décision blends political tension with emotional turmoil inside the Élysée Palace. As the nation watches in shock, the president struggles to protect both his family and his presidency. Kruger stars as Nora, his wife and political adviser, unaware of the affair that has now become a matter of state.

The disappearance sets off a race against time and trust. Behind the palace doors, allies become rivals, loyalty blurs with ambition, and power turns personal. The president, known for his honesty and integrity, must decide whether to uphold his values or compromise them to save the child.

The ensemble cast includes César Award winners Sami Bouajila (Ganglands), Marina Hands de la Comédie Française (Lady Chatterley), and Fanny Sidney (Call My Agent!). The series is produced for Apple TV+ by Solab Films, White Lion Films, and M Films, with executive producers Nicolas Tiry, Noor Sadar, and Bourboulon.

Created by Marc Dugain, Corinne Garfin, Lamara Leprêtre Habib, and Xabi Molia, La Décision joins the platform’s growing list of international titles, including The Hunt and the award-winning Drops of God.

Apple TV+ has not yet shared a release date or further information about the series.
