Elsbeth Tascioni Returns: What to Know About the New CBS Crime Drama 'Elsbeth'
Elsbeth Tascioni, originally introduced in Season One of The Good Wife, captivated viewers with her unconventional approach to law with her razor-sharp intellect. Actress Carrie Preston, known for her Emmy-winning performance as the quirky, lovable character, brings Elsbeth back to the screen in a new light, embarking on a new investigative journey in the bustling streets of New York City.
Elsbeth is a crime-solving dramedy described more as a "how done it" than a "who done it," posing the question: can they solve it? The CBS series follows Elsbeth's journey from the courtroom to the crime scene as she teams up with the NYPD, led by the charismatic Captain C.W. Wagner - portrayed by Wendell Pierce. With the help of Officer Kaya Blanke, played by Carra Patterson, Elsbeth uses her unique perspective to solve complex criminal cases, challenging both suspects and the conventional methods of law enforcement.
