Roku is serving up romance with Chef’s Kiss, a new original film starring Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and Tim Robards. The romantic comedy premieres in February 2026 on The Roku Channel in the U.S. and in Australian cinemas through Romance Society. Produced by Jaggi Entertainment, the movie brings a taste of Tuscany to viewers everywhere.

Filming is underway in New South Wales, Australia, which doubles for Italy’s sunlit hills and villages. Bailon-Houghton, known for The Real and The Cheetah Girls, also serves as executive producer. She plays Lauren Navarro, an ambitious marketing executive sent overseas to revive a family-run pasta sauce brand. Along the way, she meets Mason (Robards), a former commercial chef whose strict values and quiet charm challenge her ideas of success and happiness.

The cast includes Julia Vosnakis as Isabella, Nat Buchanan as Maddie, and screen veteran Dina Panozzo as Francesca Russo, the fiery matriarch protecting generations of tradition. What begins as a clash of cultures becomes a story about rediscovering what matters most—love, family, and good food.

“We’re so excited to kick off production on Chef’s Kiss, a romantic comedy that features what our audiences already love—stories full of heart, humor, and connection,” said Morgan Pichinson of Roku Originals. “Our viewers devour rom-coms, especially during moments that matter to them, and we can’t wait to bring them a new love story to savor just in time for Valentine’s Day.”

Producer Steve Jaggi called the film “a reflection of our ongoing commitment to creating internationally appealing romance stories.” Written by Amelie Bonnet, the project is produced by Steve Jaggi and Kylie Mascord, with oversight from Pichinson and Sabrina Lyall for Roku Originals.

Chef’s Kiss joins Roku’s growing lineup of romantic comedies, which includes This Time Next Year, Merry Little Mystery, Jingle Bell Love, and Jingle Bell Wedding. With its mix of Tuscan flavor, cross-cultural chemistry, and cozy humor, the film looks set to charm audiences at home and abroad.
