A bilingual musical double feature is returning to the stage as Broadway Sin Vergüenza brings its Telenovela Nights cabaret to The Green Room 42. The performance takes place at the venue inside YOTEL Times Square in the Theater District, known for hosting a wide range of live programming, with the one-night show scheduled for Sunday, May 31, at 9:30 PM.

Presented as a fast paced cabaret experience, Telenovela Nights brings together two original musical works, Champagne Tears and Querida: Amor Sin Final, each unfolding through a mix of melodrama, comedy, and music. Performed by a bilingual ensemble and accompanied by live piano, the show leans into the rhythms of telenovela storytelling, with emotional turns, sharp humor, and moments that play directly to the audience.

Rather than a standalone event, the return marks another step in the project's continued movement across New York City stages, introducing the format to new audiences while building on earlier performances.

Champagne Tears follows a rags to riches storyline shaped by ambition, relationships, and shifting loyalties, while Querida centers on love, family expectations, and the emotional fallout of a life changing moment. Both productions are presented in a cabaret format that keeps the pacing tight and the tone dynamic, echoing the experience of watching back to back telenovelas, now reimagined live and without commercial breaks.

The cast for the May 31 performance includes Arelis Cruz, Bruno Giraldi, Marianne Grossmann, Inma Heredia, Diego Millan, Isabella Pacheco Rarick, Juliana Padilla, Susana Raposo, Jon Rodez, Kiwi Villalobos, and Thomas Vorsteg. The production is directed by Vanessa Verduga, with Eric Smrcka on piano.

Alongside the return to the stage, the team is also expanding its reach beyond live performance. A new initiative, BSB En Escena, is being developed as a digital cartelera designed to track and highlight Latiné theater productions across the United States and Puerto Rico. The platform aims to create a centralized space where audiences can discover what is playing, where it is happening, and how to attend.

Organizers say the idea came from a simple gap: there is currently no single place where Latiné theater across the country can be easily found in one view. The project, still in development, is being built to support visibility not only for Broadway Sin Vergüenza productions but for the wider community of artists and companies working in bilingual and Latiné theater.

As the cabaret circuit continues to take shape, Telenovela Nights reflects both sides of that effort, live performances that move from stage to stage, and a broader push to make sure those stories are easier to find, follow, and support.
