Bronx-based spiritual coworking hub WitchWork will host its third annual BetterWitch STAYcation from November 7 to 9, 2025, offering a weekend of workshops, rituals, and community at a historic private home on the water not far from the Bronx. The three-day, two-night retreat invites witches, healers, and wellness practitioners to step away from city life and reconnect with nature.

Founded by Aly Kravetz, a lifelong Bronx resident known as BronxWitch, WitchWork opened in 2021 as the borough’s first coworking space for spiritual and wellness professionals. The STAYcation extends that mission into nature. “It’s an opportunity to get away, connect with each other in nature, be in community, and level up our spiritual practices and spiritual businesses,” Kravetz said.

This year’s retreat coincides with the Full Moon, an intentional overlap that Kravetz says deepens the weekend’s energy. Attendees will gather in a 130-year-old estate that has hosted spiritual and Indigenous gatherings for generations. The space is described as rustic and cozy, more like “visiting grandma’s house” than a luxury resort, with a warm, communal atmosphere.

Participants can expect transformative workshops and rituals led by experienced healers and educators. Licensed massage therapist Fox Martinez will guide Moon & Muscle: Ritual Massage, while Eva Gypsy Love, a spiritual minister with decades of experience, will teach Astral Projection techniques.

Mental health professional Jennifer Ochiagha will present Unmasking Imposter Syndrome, and Aly Kravetz, the retreat’s founder, will lead the Spirit Guide Connection Workshop & Meditation, Cleanse & Release Full Moon Ceremony, and a Dumb Supper ("dumb" refers to being silent), a silent ritual dinner to honor the ancestors.

In addition to these sessions, guests will enjoy chef-prepared meals, bodywork sessions, aromatherapy activations, professional headshots, and curated swag bags valued at $150, all designed to help practitioners recharge in both spirit and practice.

Meals will be prepared by Chef Cecilia Damazio, with Saturday lunch from the Harlem Biscuit Company, and aromatherapy sessions led by Bari Saffron of Hotel Collection. The retreat will be sober-friendly, offering adult-style beverages such as Heineken 0.0, a non-alcoholic sponsor for the weekend event. A day-pass option is also available for those unable to stay overnight.

To protect participants’ privacy, the exact address will be shared only with registered guests. The retreat fee includes transportation to and from WitchWork’s South Bronx headquarters, meals, and curated wellness gifts.

Gatherings like the BetterWitch STAYcation are a reminder for city dwellers that mental health matters, especially in busy urban spaces. For Aly Kravetz, the weekend is about recharging and building genuine connections, something she believes all witches, especially working ones, need.

Those unable to attend can still support WitchWork’s mission year-round by following @WitchWork online or visiting BronxWitch Bodega on Etsy, where Kravetz sells handmade candles, herbal blends, and tarot tools inspired by her Bronx roots.
