Wednesday Addams has finished another round of filming. Netflix announced Sept. 30 that production on Wednesday Season 3 has wrapped, releasing a new photo of Jenna Ortega as the Nevermore Academy student.

The update follows months of casting announcements for the supernatural mystery series. Production began near Dublin in February, with Ortega returning alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams and Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams.

Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer and Isaac Ordonez are also among the returning cast. Billie Piper, Joanna Lumley and Fred Armisen appear on Netflix's Season 3 cast list.

One confirmed addition puts another member of Wednesday's family in focus. Eva Green plays Aunt Ophelia, Morticia’s sister. Green previously worked with director and executive producer Tim Burton on Dark Shadows and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

Other newcomers include Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Oscar Morgan and Kennedy Moyer. Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy and James Lance join as guest cast additions.

Netflix has not released a detailed Season 3 synopsis. The series continues to follow Wednesday’s supernatural investigations and life at Nevermore, drawing on characters created by Charles Addams. Creators and showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have said the next season will include new students, new teachers, and more Addams family secrets.

Gough and Millar return as writers and executive producers, with Burton serving as director and executive producer. Ortega also executive produces the MGM Television series. The filming announcement confirms another step in Season 3's production, while its premiere date remains unannounced.
