Tracee Ellis Ross Takes You on Solo Adventures in The New Roku Series Tracee Travels

Tracee Ellis Ross in the Roku Docu-series Tracee Travels coming to The Roku Channel in 2025

Award-winning actress and co-star of the critically acclaimed ABC series "Black-ish," Tracee Ellis Ross, a travel enthusiast, is getting ready to take viewers along on her meticulously planned, sometimes laborious, yet often comical solo journeys to stunning locations in her new Roku Original docu-series, Tracee Travels.

Ross, most recently seen in the Academy Award-winning drama American Fiction opposite Jeffrey Wright, will begin filming the docu-series later this year, with an exclusive premiere on The Roku Channel in 2025. As a solo travel advocate, Tracee invites viewers to join her as she explores the intersection of beauty, fashion, design, food, and culture at each stop on her journey.

“I took my first solo trip when I was 22 years old. I decided way back then that I wouldn’t wait to do the things I wanted to do or for my life to come to me. I’ve been solo traveling ever since, now there’s just a lot more luggage!” said Tracee Ellis Ross. “I hope this show reminds people that they too can courageously live their lives on their own terms, find their happiness, and be their whole selves and their best selves — by themselves. Everyone deserves to be joyous and audaciously free.”

Ross is the owner, founder, and co-CEO of PATTERN Beauty, a multi-million-dollar business created specifically for curly hair. She also established Joy Mill Entertainment, a production company committed to telling joyful and engaging stories. Tracee Travels is produced by Joy Mill Entertainment and Artists First, with Tracee Ellis Ross and E. Brian Dobbins serving as executive producers. Adriana Ambriz and Caroline Soss are co-executive producers, and Olivia LaRoche, Head of Alternative Originals, oversees the series for Roku Originals.

The locations for the first season will be announced at a later date.
