New York just got a first look at one of the more talked-about films of the spring. Apple Original Films hosted the world premiere of "Outcome" on Monday, April 6, at AMC Lincoln Square, drawing a cast that would turn heads at any red carpet event. The dark comedy arrives globally on Apple TV this Friday, April 10, 2026.
Keanu Reeves (The Matrix), Cameron Diaz (Charlie's Angels), Matt Bomer (White Collar), and Jonah Hill (Superbad) were all on hand for the premiere, joined by an ensemble that includes David Spade (Tommy Boy), Susan Lucci (All My Children), Laverne Cox (Orange Is the New Black), Roy Wood Jr. (The Daily Show), Atsuko Okatsuka (The Intruder), Ivy Wolk (Minx), Cary Christopher (Days of Our Lives), Nikolai Nikolaeff (The OA), and Lovensky Jean-Baptiste (The Good Fight).
Even Martin Scorsese is in the cast.
The film follows Reef Hawk, a beloved Hollywood star played by Reeves, who discovers he is being blackmailed with a mysterious video from his past. To find out who is behind it, Reef goes on a journey to make amends with people he may have wronged, with help from his two best friends, Kyle (Diaz) and Xander (Bomer), and his crisis lawyer, Ira (Hill).

The casting stands out not because of star power but for their prior work. Reeves has built a career playing characters who carry both strength and vulnerability. Diaz is not just funny but can bring real warmth to a character. Bomer has a history of playing characters you would want in your corner. From the trailer, the fit feels natural.
"It was the most, as I say, permissive, fun, free, liberating, joyful experience I ever had on set because of these incredible actors, and really because of Jonah as well," Bomer said.
The supporting cast continues that pattern. Spade is known for delivering sharp lines, while Lucci adds a veteran presence shaped by decades of television drama. Cox and Wood Jr. both have experience balancing humor with social awareness, which could support the film's mix of comedy and personal reflection. Okatsuka and Wolk bring a newer voice to the lineup, rounding out a cast that spans different styles and generations.
While not his first film as a director, Outcome is Jonah Hill's most high-profile project to date, with a larger cast and a broader commercial scope than his earlier work. That step up is visible in both the scale of the production and the range of performers involved.
