Netflix has renewed A Good Girl's Guide to Murder for a third and final season, bringing the adaptation of Holly Jackson's bestselling mystery trilogy to a close.

The four-episode final chapter has already wrapped production and is scheduled to premiere globally in 2027. The series will continue following Pip Fitz-Amobi, played by Emma Myers (Wednesday), as the story reaches its final investigation.

The show is based on Jackson's A Good Girl's Guide to Murder book series, which includes the novels A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, Good Girl, Bad Blood, and As Good As Dead.

Returning cast members include Zain Iqbal, Henry Ashton, Asha Banks, Jude Morgan-Collie, Eden H Davies, and Yali Topol Margalith.

The renewal marks the completion of a series that found success both on screen and in bookstores. According to Netflix, Season 1 reached No. 1 on the Global Top 10 TV (English) list, while Jackson's novel returned to the top of The New York Times Best Sellers list following the release of the show's trailer. Season 2 also appeared on Netflix's Global Top 10 TV (English) chart shortly after its debut.

Writer and executive producer Holly Jackson said she was pleased to see the adaptation reach its planned ending.

"I am ecstatic that we are able to bring A Good Girl's Guide to Murder to its (bloody) conclusion. As Good As Dead is my favourite of the book series and it's by far my favourite season of the show too. You'll see Pip as you've never seen her before. It's dark, breathless, horrible and… somehow still manages to be funny. Come on back to Little Kilton for the final time…if you dare."

Emma Myers, who also serves as an executive producer, thanked viewers for supporting the series.

"I'm very happy that we get to bring everyone season 3 of A Good Girl's Guide To Murder. Thank you so much to everyone who has given this show love and support throughout! This has truly been an incredible experience and Pip will be a character I will never forget."
