AMC+ will premiere the second season of Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale on Thursday, December 25. The six-episode drama returns with a new trailer and first-look images, picking up one year after the town’s violent witch hunt. The series continues to follow Sarah and her daughter Harper as they navigate new threats, rising fear, and another murder shaking their community.
Season two opens with Sarah (Elaine Cassidy) and Harper (Hazel Doupe) living quietly in Scotland, trying to stay out of sight as anti-witch laws fuel hate crimes across the UK. Their safety does not last. When Sarah returns to Sanctuary, she finds a town still on edge and a new crime pulling her back into danger.

Did you know that before Twilight, True Blood, and even Buffy had fully staked their claim, one soap opera quietly let vampires run wild in the afternoon?

The new season widens its focus on the four women at the center of the story, all tied to a secret that continues to shape the town. As tensions grow, Sarah feels pressure from all sides, from people who fear her abilities to those who want to control them. Harper, still recovering from the events of the first season, plays an even bigger role in the fight to keep their family together.
Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale is based on the novel by V. V. James and is executive produced by Monumental Television, Alison Owen, Debra Hayward, Amira El Nemr, Alison Carpenter, Jill Forbes, V. V. James, Guymon Cassady, Debbie Horsfield, and Showrunner Susie Conklin.
