Prime Target: Apple TV+ Thriller Starring Leo Woodall & Quintessa Swindell, Plus Stellar Cast

Prime Target is a conspiracy thriller created and executive-produced by award-winning writer Steve Thompson. The eight-episode series, directed by Brady Hood, will premiere on Apple TV+. Thompson has worked on popular shows like Doctor Who, Deep State, Sherlock, and Vienna Blood. Hood also serves as executive producer and is set to direct all eight episodes. His past projects include Top Boy, The One, and Great Expectations.

Prime Target follows Edward Brooks, a brilliant young math postgraduate on the brink of a groundbreaking discovery. His quest to find a pattern within prime numbers could grant access to every computer worldwide. However, he soon finds himself up against an unseen adversary determined to sabotage his breakthrough before it materializes. Taylah Sanders is an NSA agent tasked with watching and reporting on this mathematician's behavior. Edward is soon thrown into Taylah's orbit, and together, they start unraveling a troubling conspiracy Edward is at the heart of.

Following his recent work in Netflix's One Day, SAG Award winner Leo Woodall will now take on the role of Edward Brooks alongside Quintessa Swindell, who plays the NSA agent Taylah Sanders. Woodall has starred in Vampire Academy, The White Lotus, and Citadel. Swindell's credits include Euphoria, In Treatment, and Black Adam.

The cast also includes Academy Award nominee and BAFTA Award winner Stephen Rea (The Crying Game), BAFTA Award nominee David Morrissey (Sherwood, The Walking Dead), Emmy Award winner Martha Plimpton (The Regime, The Goonies), BAFTA and Emmy Award winner Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen), SAG Award nominee Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), BAFTA Award nominee Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones), Ali Suliman (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Paradise Now), Fra Fee (Rebel Moon, Hawkeye) and Joseph Mydell (The Eternal Daughter).

Prime Target is produced for Apple TV+ by New Regency with Ridley Scott’s film and television production company Scott Free Productions. Ed Rubin serves as executive producer for New Regency alongside Beth Pattinson, Emma Broughton, Yariv Milchan, Arnon Milchan, and Michael Schaefer. Marina Brackenbury is executive producer for Scott Free Productions along with David W. Zucker and Scott. Series producer is Laura Hastings-Smith, who also serves as executive producer.
