Paramount+ Preview Teaser For Taylor Sheridan's Lawmen: Bass Reeves

Paramount+ released a sneak peek preview for its new western series Lawmen: Bass Reeves. It stars and is executive produced by David Oyelowo and is the first of a series of stories surrounding iconic Lawmen and Outlaws who have impacted history.

This first story of Bass Reeves will bring the legendary lawman and outlaws of the Wild West to life. Reeves (Oyelowo), known as the greatest frontier hero in American history, worked in the post-Reconstruction era as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory, capturing over 3,000 of the most dangerous criminals without ever being wounded.

Premiering this fall, the eight-episode anthology comes from Executive Producer Taylor Sheridan and was created by executive producer and showrunner Chad Feehan. The cast includes Lauren E. Banks, Demi Singleton, Forrest Goodluck, Barry Pepper, Donald Sutherland, and Dennis Quaid.

The cast also includes Shea Whigham and Garrett Hedlund as guest stars, and, in recurring roles, Joaquina Kalukango, Lonnie Chavis, Grantham Coleman, Tosin Morohunfola, Dale Dickey, Rob Morgan, Ryan O’Nan, Margot Bingham Mo Bring Plenty, Justin Hurtt-Dunkley and Bill Dawes.

The upcoming season is a collaborative effort involving MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, Bosque Ranch Productions led by Taylor Sheridan, and Yoruba Saxon led by David Oyelowo.
