
If you've been eagerly anticipating season three, your wait is about to end. "Slow Horses" will make its global debut on Friday, December 1st, with the initial two episodes, and after, fans can look forward to a new episode every Friday until December 29th, exclusively on Apple TV+.
Slow Horses stars acclaimed actor Gary Oldman and is an exciting version of Mick Herron's award-winning spy series called Slough House. It's all about the third book in the series, Real Tigers. With these images, Apple TV+ is giving us a sneak peek at the upcoming season based on this thrilling novel.

Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but misanthropic leader of the spies, who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes as they frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world.

The ensemble cast also includes Academy Award nominee Kristin Scott Thomas, BAFTA Scotland Award winner Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Freddie Fox, Chris Reilly, Samuel West, Sophie Okonedo, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan, and Academy Award nominee Jonathan Pryce.
Ṣọpẹ Dìrísù joins the season three cast as Sean Donovan, the former head of security at the British embassy in Istanbul, along with Katherine Waterston, who plays Alison Dunn, an MI5 agent who uncovers a dark secret at the heart of the agency.

Produced exclusively for Apple TV+, Slow Horses is produced by See-Saw Films and skillfully adapted for television by Will Smith, known for his work on Veep. The executive team behind the show includes Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Douglas Urbanski, Gail Mutrux, Will Smith, Jane Robertson, and Graham Yost. Season three is under the capable direction of Saul Metzstein.

Since its debut, Slow Horses has been honored with BAFTA Television Award nominations. Notably, Gary Oldman received his first-ever nomination for Best Lead Actor, while Jack Lowden earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actor. The series also garnered recognition in other categories, such as Best Editing: Fiction (credited to Katie Weiland), Best Original Music: Fiction (by Daniel Pemberton and Mick Jagger), and Best Sound: Fiction (credited to Martin Jensen,
Joe Beal, Duncan Price, Craig Butters, Sarah Elias, and Andrew Sissons). For those who haven't seen the first two seasons of Slow Horses, both seasons are currently available for streaming worldwide on Apple TV+. Additionally, Apple TV+ has already announced a fourth season, which will follow the fourth novel in the series, Spook Street.
